There was a debit on my checking account from Geneva roth vent. I have never used this account to get anything from them. How did they get my checking account information

Yes I have and have been paying them on schedule. But the company is not GEneva Roth. I've called my bank and they say that the company would have to produce a receipt showing that I authorized this transaction. I'm just curious to know how they got my new checking information.

kash, I personally do not blame you for going into panic mode. This is not the first or second posting regarding Geneva Roth finding peoples new bank accounts and debiting. I do realize what goudah is saying regarding the odds are very low; however, I'm seeing quite a few people that this has happened to now. If Geneva Roth can get new bank information and begin debiting accounts, who's to say that other pdls can't get new bank account information and start debiting accounts? I'm getting concerned also.

Gosh ..I hope a time comes when we all don't rush into panic because of these IPDLS!!! If we opened a new account and haven't paid any pdls or gotten any new ones (I would slap you silly if you did...LOL) then I beleieve we are safe. It is rare that they get a 2nd account info...it just seems like when we here about 1 or more we feel like it's going to be a chain...and that scares us.

Morning I also hope that time comes. I still do rush into panic mode, because these PDLs are so sly. I am trying to calm down a bit and I do try to believe that my new info is safe. Then I hear the things that Geneva Roth is doing, and I start to think of the other PDLs doing it also.

It's the ones that people post about that appear after a year or two and start debiting out of their new bank account that blow my mind! Now whether they went and applied for another pdl (slap, slap!) or not is beyond me. I just don't want anyone to pop up in the year 2008 and start sucking money out of my bank account!

I guess that's why I keep fighting to get an answer from the 2 who evade me. In my mind I feel safer when I have a copy of theri PIF in my file. Without it there is always the frustration an dfear they could pop up at any time....

I will be moving out of state in the spring, changing all my numbers and possibly my job as well...I wonder if I will feel safe from them then??

Run, morning, run! Change everything! Address, phone number, bank accounts, etc. You'll probably feel a little more at ease!
