how to figure your credit score

Hi rkemp. Which company sent you the report. It should have your score somewhere. Maybe you could contact them and let them know it wasn't included. As for getting this cleared up quickly, I can say that that probably won't happen. BUT, the fact that you are taking action to do something about it says alot for you. Just be patient and keep working towards getting it cleared up. It WILL happen, but it does take some time.

Just some advice...I'd think twice about taking a loan out to pay off debt. I thought about it but in the end what you are doing is creating debt just to pay debt. You still are stuck with debt. Unless you can get a REALLY good apr but again, you are just making more debt when you really just are looking to get rid of it.

With the settlement company (or anyother way of paying), your score won't go up over night. Over time you'll see improvements. Just keep making payments & make sure they get credited to the accounts.
