would someone please tell me how and what is wordpress for my blog? I have no idea how to get started on it.

If you clcik on the link Simon created for you when you made you blog...it takes you to the Worldpress page. You will need a user name and password...you would get from Simon. This is the page where you actually create and write your blog entries....when you are done you hit publish....and there you go.
