Well I have a loan from Arrowhead Investments and this morning I woke up to find my checking account minus 22 dollars!

They took 3 loan payments at once!!!! What gives with these people?

Help!!!! I copied all the info down about them and am going to call. After work I am also going to my bank about this. Maybe they should call them up.

This is terrible. Like an open door revolving access to my checking account!!!

I took this loan out in August of 2007 and it was for 350. According to the terms of the loan they take out 90 dollars twice a month when my paycheck is deposited.

They took out funds on the 2nd of Oct ($90.00)Now today they took out 3x$90.00! Wham, wham, wham just like that.

I get the feeling someone at that place just hit the enter key 3 times to deduct my money! Who does the extra money go to huh?

Just a thought.

Any good ideas how best to handle this issue?

Thanks in advance.

call your bank or even better visit your bank in person. they have to investigate this situation.
I've read internet reports from this company and they like to bully folks and apparently have done illegal tactics to collect money. What state are you in?
I would report him to your state attorney general and file a federal fair debt collection practice act case against them. Your state may not allow PDL at all, and so Arrowhead investments may have given you an illegal loan. type in their name in this sites search engine and you can read all the horrible things this company has done to people. the main thing now is to get your bank to work with you on your negative account. If you have any written material proving that you're working with this company take it with you. good luck, so sorry to hear that you are dealing with this. please keep us posted as others will learn from your situation. take care

Thanks for your quick reply to me - I am going to really keep up on this deal - maybe educated myself plus huh?

Oh my!

As I was reading your response just now, they called me on my cell and explained that their bank mistakenly pulled out too much money - hmmm

So I am to FAX them the info and they will deposit the funds back into my account immediately.

2 things I did this morning - I went over my fees/payments recorded in my online statements and sent this info to them with questions immediately this morning.

Now.... here is the rub on this, the person calling me said that their bank did this to a lot of people yesterday on their accounts - mistakenly hit the withdrawel button 3 times?

Makes you wonder how many people even question this doesn't it? I did so the minute it occured. I'd be willing to bet this isn't the first time they have done this. We'll see if they refund now, because if they don't. Well let's just say I'm going to my bank after work on this anyway. I'm disgusted.

If any of you people have this experience I suggest you do the same... go over your bank records and see if they match your loan aggreement.

I'm in Utah and yes they have PDL's, but I am telling you - NEVER AGAIN! Next month it's payoff and fini'

I'm pretty sure my bank will have plenty to say as I have several accounts with them for a long time now.

Keep you posted!

Soooo glad I found this forum :D

aha and I was right - someone did hit the enter key 3 times and deducted too much

Oh Heavens!! I can't believe that! keep us posted on your communications with your bank. are you saying that ACC's bank owned up to the fact that one of their reps pulled out too much money numerous times or is this your bank saying this? either way, it does make you wonder how many people have not questioned their practices! Unfortunately, so many of us are scared when dealing with places like this. Until I came here, I about fainted every time i got a letter from a CA :( it's horrible let us know how ya do
