Not sure about two of them. Is MTE even licensed in your state? I know they aren't licensed in many states. If they aren't licensed then you only owe them an additional $30 and your principal is paid and that is all your responsible for.

Yeah. In fact I am kind of suprised she has not visited this thread and made some comments! She would probably know at least if the other one was an MTE also.

Hi, folks! The "MTE Hater" is here! MTE Financial and PaycheckToday are one in the same. Both MTE. Up Front Cash I do not believe to be MTE related; however, do believe to also be an illegal one.
MTE borrowed 300/paid 270/owe 30
PaycheckToday borrowed 200/paid 180/owe 20
Up Front Cash borrowed 300/paid 75/owe 225
Your state law prohibits rollovers/extensions, which is what you have been paying these pdls. Illegal. Every penny you have paid them goes towards the principle amount. You owe MTE  $30. You owe Paycheck Today  $20. You owe Up Front Cash $225. These guys will suck you dry. Have you done anything regarding your bank account yet??? And, may I ask, why are you sending pmt to Up Front Cash via moneygram???

LOL! Cannr, I love it when you get on a roll about MTE! You are a lady on a mission, and I hope to see them shut down! :) I was fortunate to not have had to deal with them (trust me it was luck of the draw because I was applying to anyplace that would take an application!!!) but I've seen them bully too many people!
Ontrack, listen to what everyone is saying. Listen to Cannr and only pay back what is listed above. There isn't a thing they can do because you will have LEGALLY met your obligation!

ontrack, got your message on my home page. I'm deleting it so no one else can read it. Here's the deal. Apparently you've tried to work with your MTE pdls. I'm assuming they have sent you to their "collections" department. It's still them. They also claim to have a "fraud" department. Hell, I've been sent to them all! Yada, yada, blah, blah. They are unlicensed/illegal, ontrack. When you speak to these people on the phone, you have no documentation of what's going on. They can and will say anything they want to. Actually, they lie in writing also, so there's no way around their illegal tactics, to be honest. They are full of it. Not licensed/not legal. Now, I know you want to pay your principle amount of the loans. Which is wonderful. However, MTE thinks that you owe the loan plus an extra million bucks on top. They're evil. You only owe $20 on one and $30 on the other. They're going to say "fees for returned payments/rollover fees/extension fees", etc. All illegal. As far as your Up Front Cash, thank you for answering me. I know that a lot of pdls will pressure people into paying via moneygram/western union. Here's what you need to do. You need to send MTE (both pdls) letters and also Up Front Cash a letter stating that you revoke any debit authorization from any bank accounts, you need to state your state law regarding pdls, revoke any wage assignment you may have signed (they usually don't have wage assignment; however, I revoke everything), and also state that you will no longer communicate with them via telephone and that you are only to be in contact via email or USPS. Believe me, MTE likes to email, so they will email you. But you have to not take the calls any longer. And you don't need to call them trying to make payment arrangements. You will be blue in the face and they will still argue with you. I want to help you with the letters. I see that you are registered. Do you know how to use "pm"? This is private message. We can send each other messages and I can give you some letters and more information, if you like. You can click on the little button under my post that says "pm" and a page will come up that will send your message directly to my inbox. I'm going to send you one as a "test" to see if you get it. Look over to the side of your screen and you will see "messages". It'll tell you if you have any. Click on that and your messages will show up. Okay? I'm going to do that right now so we can see if we can communicate via "pm". :D
