I know Ang...I watched the news this morning too...several places accross the midwest were hit really hard...a part of KY got it too and now it's moved off to the Eastern part of the country...

My little area seems ok...I'm leaving in a few minutes to drop my car off for brakes....I just have to go find my patio chairs first!!!

A town near where I live (Nappanee) got hit hard. Lots of damage there.

Oh I feel for those people there. I hope there was not too many casualties. Well I actually hope there were no casualties.

We had terrible storms last night. (West Michigan, about an hour from the Indiana border)We had a tornado in town, which is absolutely unheard of here..We are wrapped by Lake Michigan.

Wow Fins...you m,ust have catch what left me and moved north...I hear more to come next week...I am so glad I finally had my brakes done today!!!

Yeah, looks like I'm going to need new front tires sooner than I thought!

I will be coming to Kentucky/Indiana next month! Will be going to the Bands of America Grand Nationals at the RCA Dome!!! I have family in both places. They all faired pretty well. Wish we would get a little more rain out here (NC). Our drought is getting really bad. The govenor has asked people to cut water usage by 50%. I am on a well, but still, we are trying to cut things down also. Well will run dry!

morningstarr, I'm glad I wasn't the only one caught in "tornado land"! Hell, I was freaking out! Indiana got it pretty hard and we had one touch down about 15 minutes from me. Wonderful. Hell, I was sitting here posting the whole time praying I wasn't going to go flying through the air with my dogs! I stayed on awhile, putting up with the sirens and such. Then the computer started twitching. Then the TV kept going off. I figured I'd better get my butt off the computer (addicted!). Then it hit with the hail. Nice. Everything was okay though. I wasn't sure exactly where you were in perspective to the tornados. But, we were together, my friend. Batton down the hatches!

I was very lucky that most of the really bad stuff was several miles away...Last year I sat here alone as a tornadon touched down just a half mile from me...I was so scared..I'm a big baby when I am alone in this stuff!!!!
