I sent ARM Fl a dv. They sent me back a letter collecting the debt for Paycheck Today with a copy of my online agrrement and on a seperate page what looks to be a handwritten list of my payments. This was a $300 loan they say I owe $495. The llist they provide shows I paid $510 already. They are violating Fl law. They told me today when i told them I filed a complaint with them that they will send it back to Paycheck Today. I also asked will you report on my credit report they said no. They said we don't do that the company Paycheck today sends it to will when they get it back will. They also said all these companies have to do is say the debt is valid anyt he credit bureaus leave it on they don't require proof. This seems like a run around. How do I fight the credit reporting agencies when these comapnies report. They say they will verify any investigation the credit bureau puts forth.

You can definately get it removed from your credit report if anything shows up. You have to fight it, but it can be done. If something shows up on your credit report, you dispute it with the credit bureaus. Have them investigate it. Then you contact the collection agency who reported it and **** heads with them regarding it being an illegal debt which had not been properly validated and inform them that the credit bureaus are investigating it. Then you also file complaints against these morons with every agency you possibly can. But, I will tell you, it can be removed.

Well, roxy, at least you'll know what to expect if/when they DO respond to you! Gee, they'll send you your loan documents and a handwritten sheet of your payments. For some reason, this does not meet the requirements of the DV letter we've sent out!

A "handwritten" sheet with the payments made. Ummm... you can get a bank statement with the payments made. Good Lord. And they think they validated it????
