I had some free time today and was searching about Christmas and bullseye, I found debtcc in news.

Here it is
http://www.prleap.com/pr/59498/ - DebtCC launches Christmas Budgeting Forum

I think it was launched last year but what happened to the forums?

I see that the page is still there, http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/christmas-budgeting/index.html .. It says,
"We all do some budgeting for ourselves some way or the other. Christmas Budgeting forum is the place where we will be sharing our own budgeting ideas for the holidays. If you have any difficulty preparing your budget post it here and let the community help you."

So don't you think this is the right to jump in and prepare for the budgeting session before Christmas knocks again?

Should we start the Christmas forum again? Cast your vote and lets have vikas decide the date.

What else can be done to make this Christmas special?

This would be an EXCELLENT thing for me. I always tend to go way overboard at Christmas and I am really, really wanting to start some payment arrangements with some creditors in January. If I can keep myself in check for Christmas, I will be able to do this. I, personally, will need some hmmmmm, well, firm encouragement from all of you! :-) So, I vote yes.

With my husband being one of 6, we cut down on gifts a long time ago. There are so many neices, nephews, great neices,etc-not to count brothers, sisters, husbands  When all the kids were younger, they drew names-that worked out well, and the adults did too.

Now with everyone trying to get debts paid off, get homes, etc., we don't do that anymore. We all go together to get his mom and dad something, my mom something, and our kids. If we have any babies or little ones, we buy for them. I also bought for my sons girlfriend, and her two little ones last year, because I knew they weren't going to get anything or anything from Santa.

Enjoy your time with your loved ones and the times you are together-the laughter and love. One day you won't have this-and this is certainly more important than any present!

I lost all my family memebers in a 6 year span, on both sides of the family-really miss family and get togethers now. There is only my mom, sons, brother and 3 distant cousins on both sides left..So enjoy what you have-you won't remember what you gave these people- but will always remember the fun, laughter and love..karen :D

I hate the bills after christmas, I refuse to build up a pile of them for a one day event. It is around the time when all other expenses are up, like heat and electricity. I usually start shopping right after christmas and putting things up for the following year. I vote yes on the forum, would be good to kick a few ideas around.
