Well last night I spent a great deal of time in the ER. My 8 year old has pnemonia. Also, his insurance will not pay for one of the prescriptions until I can get the doctor to fax over a realese on Monday so I had to pay for that too. Woohoo! Not. Luckily Walgreens will reimburse me after they get the go ahead from that insurance comapny. He gets his insurance through his disability. I thought a perscription from a DR was saying that it is important that the patient has this. Gah! Stupid government people!!

I had a flat tire this morning that ousted my bank account for a pretty penny becuase they are "special" tired. Somehting that the car dealer left out when selling us our van.

I swear I don't know when this is ever going to let up. I am about to go insane I think. Any new cast of a woman running **** screaming in the streets is NOT me!

At least all of my immediate bills are paid.

Good Grief!! You do have a full plate! I hope your son is doing better. I know how the ER visits go-we did that for 14 years with my youngest.

You are right, we have been through-the insurance doesn't cover this thing- had my doc fire off a letter saying he needs it.But in the meantime you are stuck with paying for it.

Sorry about your tires :( You and your family will be in my prayers--yes it will end- sometimes it just doesn't feel that it will--Hang in there..karen

I am sorry to hear about all of your troubles FYI you are in my prayers. I hope that your son gets better and the insurance co doesn't jack you around.

Even though I had a very bad experience with Walgreens and my MS medication (which by the way costs $8,750.00 per month) they will work with you and refund your money right away.

They filled my medication at the wrong mcg level which I am only 100 lbs and should have only received 22 mcg instead of the 44 mcg, they refused to take it back and my sister who is a nurse had to come over and get rid of half of the medication in the syringes for that month.

So I have my prescriptions filled at Shopko and am much happier. Keep your chin up things will get better:)

Yes they continued calling me for about 6 mos after that when I changed to Shopko and I had had it and lit into this poor woman about it and she said that she was going to take this information up with her supervisor. Yeah right, never heard another word from them ever again. I refuse to even shop at Walgreens anymore. They pissed me off. They lost alot of money when they wouldn't take the wrong medication back that's for sure.

I think there pharmacist must have been sleeping during his shift:) I bet some heads rolled on that one.

Well hell, I can't seem to win for trying. I am not making any of this up either. This year has been the worst in a very long time for me.

My sister n law and her 3 kids move in with us making out family of six into a family of ten. My oldest son gets a head injury at school, his younger brother gets pnemonia, and now.. now I have aproximately 4-7k worth of damage to a vehicle I am already upside down on. My fault though really for lowering the coverage when we took on added expense of a larger family while my sister n law who is a full time student (graduates in May) is getting divorced.

I seriously don't think I can take much more for the rest of the year.

After taking in my family after Katrina for 2 months or so i can totally relate! Although i'd do it again in a heart beat it does make life so much more stressful with extras living in ur home!

Hope things are getting better,

FYI, I'm so sorry all this is going on. I hope to God that only good things happen from now on. You don't need any more grief.

Well... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... gotta make ur priorities here! Sheesshh!
Ya know actually a few years ago we made a risky decision when my oldest daughter got her d/l. We decided to only get liability on her brand new car to save money! Well 10 days later, she totalled her car!
SIGHS, Sometimes u just have to do what u have to do and take those risks!

Well we've been able to come up with a grand so they will be able to make the van "runable" until Januray when it can be completely fixed. The final estimate was around 4800. With 1k out of the way it will be a lot easier.

Read up on our insurance policy, even if we had full coverage it would not have been covered because of the mileage. SO we would have been screwed either way. Still, come January when it is time to re-up that sucker is getting full coverage!
