nightmare, is EZ Pawn some sort of installment loan? Your state law states that one licensee can only allow 500.00 loans. How do you have a loan for 1300.00? Unless this is some sort of installment type loan?? Cash Advance is also throwing me off. They are giving you a pay day loan for 726.00? Cash Pawn is the only one with a loan under 500.00. Now, have you tried to contact each place and explain your financial situation to them and that you can not pay the entire amount and need to make payments?

Yes, many storefronts in Texas use the CSO model. This allows them to get around any pdl laws.
You need to talk to them about making some sort of payment arrangements. The bad part is that these places are probably going to be 100% legal. That means you legally do owe the debt, and will have to make arrangements to pay. But you also need to feed your family. What's more important? Feeding your family or paying a loan? Feeding your family!
I would start out by calling each place, explaining your situation, and see what they say. They may be willing to work with you, they may not. Try to talk to a manager if at all possible.
You will also need to look into closing/blocking your bank account. While there are bad check laws, most states do not consider this to be a bad check situation. I would recommend calling the Texas Office of Consumer Credit, explaining your situation, and seeing if they have any suggestions. They can at least tell you if it is safe to close your bank account. I think it will be, but I can't say 100% that it will.
