Relatively speaking, I have minimal debt. I do have a car payment and such. But my issues are with my credit card debt. These companies really have figured out a way to pull one over (or at least try) with those trying to rebuild their credit. There are monthly maintenance fees, ridiculous interest rates, huge annual fees, etc. I do not have a card that I can do a balance transfer with, nor would I be approved for one.
Anyway, it would be great if these cards could be combined with one payment and interest lower than something like 28-30%! This is getting super stressful....
Thanks!
Other options?
Credit card companies have figured out how to keep consumers in debt for many, many years. Have you looked into debt settlement as well as a debt consolidation loan? The latter could easily allow you to pay off your credit cards however most people are back in the same position in about 2 years. Debt settlement negotiates with the credit card companies to reduce the total amount owed, ultimately saving you quite a bit.
