I currently have 7 internet payday loans. The fees are killing me!

Loan Shop $300 - paid $450 fees
SJM Marketing $300 - paid $450 fees
United Cash Loans $300 - paid $450 fees plus $50 xtra for principal - now owe $250
TJF Corp - $300 - paid $180 fees
Arrowhead - $300 - paid $90 fees
ECash - $300 - paid $90 fees
CMG Group - $250 paid $75 fees

Can someone please help me figure out what to do? I cant keep going like this. They took $615 out of check this past friday in fees alone! OUCH!

okay, today i got an email from Cathy, SVP & Director of Bank Operations. She said that my account is in the negative $85.55 and said it was due to them having to "FORCE" post a debit to my account from Friday! She questioned me as to why my account is on limited status. I called her and emailed her to inform her of the situation with Easy loans taking unauthorized monies. She has not called me back or responded to my email yet. I then proceeded to call EasyLoans to find out the deal with my account and the same girl called me back with the same line about me not being in their system yet. I asked if it would be easier for me to contact ECASHNOW and she said hold on one minute while I find out for you.....doo doodoo doo doo doo.....(yes thats me on hold forever)....i got tired of holding and hung up! now these people are giving me the run around when all i want is some type of proof that I owe them this money.

Aminah...All I can say to this is CRAP!! Don't you have something saying they could not force the account open? I though I read you did but then I again I read so much sometimes I get confused. I will say you are much better than I. I would be crying, kicking and screaming by now.

Well Cathy just called me and she said that she will speak with Kelly(the one who opened the account) and she said that what happened was that the debit from Friday got rejected and was floating as unposted and our operations dept must not of gotten the "MEMO" about my account being on credit only status. She said that she will inform them to make sure all debits/checks get rejected from this point on. She said she will check to see when my account will be credited the $180 they took in the first place. So now I just have to wait and see.

aminah, are they going to reverse ALL the money that has caused you to be negative 85.55? That email that you have is written proof that this debit should not have gone through. I don't care if it was "floating" somewhere. I know it's a waiting game now (don't I know it....) Please keep us up to date on what's going on.
And P.S. - Glenda the "good witch" fits roxy perfectly!

As per Kelly's email and Cathy confirmed it via telephone conversation, the whole $90 will be returned to me. I had $4.12 in the account when the debit hit. They both told me to come in the bank and transfter the money to the new account and not to worry about the debit, that it will be reversed. They didnt charge me any NSF fees either...thank God

Okay Here is the latest on my account! Woo hoo its friday (payday) and I actually got my whole check in my NEW account this morning. Thank God!

Now here is the update on my old account. 5 out of 7 PDL's hit my old account this morning. Kelly in the bank asked me to come downstairs and fill out affidavits so that they can be returned. Right now they are just pending and have not hit my account.

I do have to say that it felt good to see my whole check and be able to figure out which bills WILL get paid this week!

Out of the 7 PDL's that I have and sent letters to, only 1 of them responded to me via email! Never received a phone call from them either. His email stated that if I didnt pay what I owe them, they were going to send me to collections!

How do I get it through his thick skull that I have over paid their illegal/unlicensed behinds?

Any correspondence from them e-mail them back. Just keep e-mailing them. IF and when they turn you over to collections, then you do the whole debt validation request thing. And then you can tell the CA that they bought an illegal debt. You did file complaints on them with the BBB and ag??

To file a complaint with your state AG, you need to find their website. Just google "your state" attorney general. The website will come up. Look for Consumer Protection or something along those lines. Then look for File A Complaint. Depending on your state, you might be able to file on line. Some states, you have to download the forms, fill them out, and then mail them in.

My AG wants to know if this complaint is against Banking or credit cards except solicitations for credit cards?

Contact the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Financial Institutions, or the federal Office of the Comptroller of Currency.

Is an internet PDL part of banking?

Katie~me too. i thought they would call me by now but they havent.

lren, i actually work for my bank. i asked that my account be put on credit only status and that no debits/checks get posted to my account. so far so good. maybe you should talk with a manager instead of a bank rep. explain that you have had some unauthorized transactions and that the Ohio DFI advised you to close your account. It worked for me. My job never questioned me.
