Can PDL go on your credit report?

Yes, sometimes pdl's will show up on your 3 major credit reports. Most often this is because it was sold to a third party collector. They can be disputed and removed in most cases.

As a matter of common practice, they do not report to the bureaus. If they send you to a collection agency, the CA could but then you can dispute it.

Many of them do report to Teletrack, a sub prime reporting agency. This is a report that other pdl's, rent to own furniture, etc, check.
