I am new to this website. I find it very fascinating. I have a PDL with Think cash but it is set up like a installment loan. they take almost 200.00 per month out of my account. I have been reading your website and now I am wondering if they are even legal in the state of Kansas. The actual loan is with the First Bank of Delaware. How can I find out this information.

I have another question. Let me start by saying this loan originated with a visit to Check n go Online. It then transferred from there to the First bank of Delaware as an Installment loan. I called them and asked them to not take the payment out of my account as the money would not be there. I asked them to give me a week or 2 extension. They refused and said that when it come back as NSF they would turn it over to collections. I plan on going to the bank and putting a stop payment on this and preventing it from going through. I will pay them just can't do it right now. Can they refuse to work with me on this and why in gods name would they?

Since the Think Cash loan is actually backed by the First Bank of DE, they don't actually need to be licensed. Federal Law allows FDIC insured banks to import their home state's license and laws when doing business in other states. So they are 100% legal.

Check n Go's installment loans are also backed by the First Bank of DE. It's the same situation as above. The reason they won't work with you is because since these loans are "high risk" to begin with, they get very aggressive when you don't pay on time. They can take steps to collect, including suing you, so I'd recommend you try to set up a budget so that you can make the payment every month. And if at all possible, pay extra. You need to get out from under this loan as soon as possible.
