Ok people....don't have much time right now, because my 6 year old niece is here having a sleep over with me. Right now it is just her and I because both my son and husband are at work and my daughter is in New York for a band competition, so hoping they do well tomorrow. Anyway, I have a job interview on Tuesday!!! It happens to be the same place my husband works. They were impressed with my resume and I happen to know a few people there, so I am hoping that plays into my favor. I have already met the "recruiter" as they call him, so he is putting a good word in for me, so... Any way, just wanted to let everyone know and please keep those fingers crossed and I will let you all know what happens.

Got a call yesterday, interview is scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00. Excited and nervous all at the same time. Some of the guys that work there are putting a good word in for me. I am so ready to get out of this place. Hubby came home from seeing his mom again just in time, so he is pulling for me too. Even though we would be working for the same company, we would not be working together. I would be in the Truck shop and he is in the main shop. I would basically be doing a lot of the same things I am doing now, payroll, purchase orders, opening and closing jobs, customer service, etc, plus a few other things thrown in there, so I would be pretty familiar with some of the things I would be doing, so I am hoping that will play in my favor. I do know that I will be the 3rd interview tomorrow. As soon as I know something, will let you know.

Daughter's band did well. The placed 10th in NY. They did make it to the statue, but not ground zero because of the weather. My daughter said on one of the ferry rides she almost got sea sick and she said she was so dumb because she had gotten nachos to eat! But she said for the most part the trip was fun. This week they have the last football game, their last local competition and then in a couple weeks they go to Indianapolis for the Grand Nationals. I think next week I am going to take her to get her picture done in her band uniform.

Thanks Kashzan ~ I so badly want this job!

As far as how things are going, they really have been about the same, but I am really trying to not be so depressed and trying to keep my spirits up, but hard sometimes. I have been spending a lot of time on the phone to my mom lately, so that helps a bit. Also looking forward to seeing her next month when we go to Indy and hopefully will get to spend Thanksgiving with her and my dad. That is what I am hoping anyway,

Here is the update...the interview went well. during the course of us talking it turned out I answered most of his questions even before he had an opportunity to ask them. There were 2 other applicants, and it turns out I was the last one he had to interview. He said he thought I would fit in very well and even agreed that if he hired me to let me start after Thanksgiving since we were going out of town. I should know something either tomorrow or Friday. Then the worse part will happen and that is giving notice and having to deal with things from there, but....I can handle a couple more weeks of "torture", even if it is going to be a little worse than what I have been going through already, then FREEDOM from that place.

***More updates as they come in***

I tell you, everytime the phone has rung today I have about jumped out of my seat. I hate waiting!!! I sent the guy I interviewed with an Thank You email, so hoping that will be a plus in my favor also. I am so nervous waiting to see what is going to happen. I am so on pins and needles right now!
