Made my first payment!

Chase stopped calling maybe 2 weeks ago. That was a shock to me. Not sure if they accepted the proposal or not. I'm going to wait for the consolidation company to process the payment & distribute it. If Chase wants more, they will call me.
Felt really good to pay only one bill this month for the credit cards.
I'm not stressing out as much as when I first got here! Thanks everyone! Now I can focus on more important things :)

Morning Lawn, wow lots of good news from you :) You'll find that you can breathe easier each month knowing that your company is taking care of your creditors for you. You may still get bills in the mail but it's entirely up to you whether you pay your creditors extra or not. I didn't and I did just fine with my program! Being that Chase stopped calling tells me that they probably agreed to the terms of the program. Way to go!!! your company keep in close contact with you letting you know what creditors agreed to the terms and maybe you can even monitor your progress online which is a great perk! take care good luck and congrats!

Heard from the consolidation company today. They got the payment, told Chase & Discover they got the payment & they are both in the program now. So looks like I'm all set! Will be a week or 2 before the payment posts with the creditors but that's normal & ok.
I'm so excited!!
