I have a credit card that went to collections and was picked up by B&Q. My Husband was served with my summons went I was not home. (This is not a joint account). B&Q would not settle and I did not get a court date and the Judge awarded a judgment against me with out my being able to defend myself. Was this legal?

On your summons there wasn't a form to reply to and a court date? I would question as to why you never received a court date or appearance..I am not a legal expert,however, but this doesn't sound right to me!..karen
