Looking for some debt consolidation advice.

Hi everyone, and I thank you for taking the time to view my post.
Due to a current decrease in income I am thinking about consolidating my credit card debt. Currently I have 7 credit cards with a balance close to $7000 on them, all within dollars of their limits. Although I have somehow been able to keep current with the minimum monthly payments, it is putting a major financial strain on me. My credit rating isn't horrible but probably could be better.
If anyone has any advice or expirience in dealing with a similar situation your guidance is greatly appreciated.
