does anyone have any advice on which pay day lenders are worth using? I realize that I will pay a large interest fee relative to the principal, but I have no other place to turn... I would prefer to use an online lender and it is near impossible to tell which lender is a good one to use. thanks...

Many do not believe there is such a thing. My recommendation to you would be not to go with an internet based company, as they are often unlicensed and will cost you much more.

If you absolutly have to, check with your bank or credit union. Some of them have partners that will do direct deposit advances.

But, and I cannot stress this enough, payday loans may seem like a quick fix, but they can quickly put you deeper in the hole and bring up a whole bunch more problems.

I also agree. If you need a payday loan check with your local credit union most of them have overdraft protection or what they call a quick cash loan and you will have a loan and not pay the high interest and they have you pay it back in monthly payments. but if you must get a payday loan I would go to a storefront lender because they are licensed in your state and have to follow the laws in YOUR state. The problem with online lenders is that when you do want to pay off/some of your loan you can never get a live person so they will tell you it is too late and that you will have to wait until the next roll over and then you try again and the same thing happens. So you end up paying twice as much back as what you borrowed.

It's a legit question, and no one should be accused of mocking the site for asking a legit question.

We all need to remember, if we want to keep this community a peaceful, happy place, we each need to think about things before we post. Even if they are mocking the site, someone else could be reading the question and legitimatly need to answer.
