I want to tell everyone on here to look for a movie called "Maxed Out" it's a documentary released in 2006 about the credit situation here in America. It's pretty disturbing. Like for starters there is at least one website where junk debt buyers can auction off their portfolios. Or that prime lenders love to offer credit to people who have horrible credit and are least likely to be able to pay it back (that's where they make their most money with rising interest rates due to late payments, late payment fees, over limit fees, etc.) It also has a familiar face in it, NACA lawyer Bud Hibbs. It's a very disturbing/enlightening movie and I recommend everyone watch it.

I wonder why Michael Moore hasn't done a film on debt and/or CA's yet. Seems like it would be right up his alley; it would practically write itself. I've seen "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11" and managed to learn a few things from them.

I'm really anxious to see "Sicko" when it comes to DVD, though. Having medical problems of my own with no insurance has made the subject of health care being available to all a real hot button issue for me.

Still, if Mr Moore does decide to do a documentary on Debt and CA's, I would certainly love sharing my stories with him. I would think some others on this site would too.
