I'm trying to get out of my online payday loans w/ the help of the MD Financial Commissioner Office (as I read about on your site); I closed my bank account and I recd an e-mail from bmggroup.com, saying that my CMG account was referred to AIS (a debt collection company) for collections; I HAD paydayloans, but have no idea who CMG is. From what I've seen on this forum, Bahamas Marketing group (BMG) is no-good. The e-mail was signed "I Collect," I can't imagine any legit company signing an e-mail like that. Any thoughts or info on these companies? Thanks.

it says I have loan with BMG Group what loan company are

You are correct that BMG is bad. It sounds like CMG is some how affiliated with BMG.

"I Collect" is a company that collects for PDLs.

I would send them a C&D letter.

Harmone Wong we are not a company. We are a get out of debt community. You will need to conact BMG Group and inquire about it.

I have also had a run in with BAHAMAS MARKETING GROUP. They are the rudiest ungratefulest people I have ever spoken to in my life. They called me on to separate occassion for 2 payday loans I took out with them if you want contact them you can either call Louis Martin at 904-239-3968 or you can call Frank Miller who is one of the Managers at Bahamas Marketing Group at 760-300-4000. If you start to ask questions they do not like they will get very irritated with you and possible hang up. If they threaten jail time take it for what it is A THREAT. This company is illegal in the United States they can only collect the original payday loan amount do not let them take you for me than that. Which I did but later learned I got scammed. Good luck I hope this information helps. Heather

I am not positive but I believe the list I show below are all affiliated. I believe so because I have a loan with CMG, I borrowed $250.00 in early 2008 & as of 4/24/09, I have paid them $2550.00 & I still owe the principal according to them. They won't get anymore from me. Any way, when I got that loan I received several emails from a guy named Matt. They were all exactly the same form letter except the company names, the phone numbers & the email address for "Matt" was (Matt@)various companies. They all had application numbers on them that were 1 or 2 numbers different. Even the subject lines were all the same format: Your application ##### The companies were:
CMG
BMG
Loan Shop
Fox Enterprises
Arrowhead Investments
TJF Corporation
SJM Marketing Corp
and
Midland Financial
Thank goodness, I was just starting with pdl's & only took the CMG (sadly, took others later but not from any of these companies). Just imagine if I had taken everyone that was offered by these lowest of the low......These are all the hardest companies to find info on too.
