These are all internet loans and I live in Pennsylvania. I have stopped my direct deposit because I couldn't take it anymore. I went to my bank on Thursday to close my account & because I had 3 pending transactions (not pdl stuff), they wouldn't close it. Friday PDL stuff hit the bank and my account is now 1200 short & that's without and bank fees. I also had a PDL with Cash Transfer Center, that was paid in full as part of my 1200 deficit. I would appreciate any help - sorry this is so long! On a high note - the Steelers beat the Brownies - woo-hoo!

Welcome to our forum...and we are glad that you have been reading here. OK...In PA internet loans can be legal depending on whether or not they are licensed any where. So you will need to look up each one, find the state of origin and then check on that state attorney web site to see if they carry a license. If they do then they are considered legal and you will have to contact them to make arrangements to pay off the loan. That said if they are illegal and not licensed you must send them a letter revoking their right to debit your account (because they will continue until your bank freezes it)and revoking any wage assignments. You will also give that letter to your hr person at work to prevent them trying to assign your wages. I would also suggest you contact your bank and explain the situation. Unfortunately this happened to me and I ended up be responsible for the total of nsf's I had. Please post any other questions you may have....

Oh, t, I'm soooooooo sorry. You have been ripped off big time by some unlicensed/illegal companies. You poor thing. I can just glance and tell you off hand that some are not going to be licensed/legal. Let's see....
ameriloan - unlicensed/illegal
Quickest Cash Advance - unlicensed/illegal
500FastCash - unlicensed/illegal
CashNetUSA will be licensed/legal - you will have to abide by their state pdl law.
I don't believe Magnum is; however, I can not say for POSITIVE, so that one would need to be checked on. Same for Impact and Apple. My Loans USA and PayDayLoanYes will also need to be checked on.
But right off, there are 3 illegal and 1 legal so far.

I totally understand where u are coming from. I too got way in over my head and everything that I made went to these pdl companies. I was so stressed and i did not know which way to turn. By chance I found this web site and I have read and listened to the advice these awesome people have given me. Follow what they say and some of the stress will be gone although it may never be gone until everything is taken care of. i am going to follow whatever these knowledgable people say because i was not able to do it on my own. Hang in there it does get better
Payday Loan Hell-p!
Thank you guys - I'm in panic mode - any suggestions where I can find the state of origin for these companies? I looked through my loan documents and don't see anything - except for Apple which looks like it might be Delaware. But on the Apple site there's a link to 500Fastcash which you say is illegal....

I am so excited about this site! I'm not much of an online chatter or anything - but I truly feel a real kinship here already...
Really busy at day job & on Tuesdays I work 2 jobs, so I'm ready to buckle down & get going now. I'm a tad on the non-confrontational side (translation: wuss) & not sure what to say to these companies. Had my first phone message today - from Apple. Are there any sample letters here (I think I saw one somewhere that addressed the illegal companies) that would help me word what I want to say? Two situations - one for anybody I'm not planning on paying, for overpaid reasons and one for those I'll pay when I can. And, I guess, they'd both have to cover "don't call me at work, don't call my references, etc......". Thank you so much for your encouragement.

Tao, here is a link with a sample letter to look at. You want to send this USPS with certified return receipt. You can also e-mail and fax them. Being non-confrontational, you do not have to talk to the companies, in fact try to only communicate in writing. If they call and you can't avoid talking to them, take a message for yourself and then reply to the call in writing. Here is the link :

If you have any questions please post.

taopooh, just change the wording for each pdl. Change it to fit each individual situation. If you have overpaid, change the dollar amount and then demand a refund. If you have paid the principle, change the dollar amount, and state you have paid the principle amount and demand a "paid in full" letter from them. If you have not yet paid the principle, change the dollar amounts and only agree to pay the principle amount of the loan. Any questions, just post them!

I had emailed the Banking Commissioner's Office in Delaware regarding my Apple Fast Cash loan. I had stated that I had borrowed 700 7/3 - it has been extending every week since then, I have paid 539.86 towards the principal & 1019.93 in interest/fees. She quickly replied & asked me to call her. She seemed to be very interested in the fact that I never re-signed for the loan. She asked me to email her again with my request and to include the loan number & stuff. She wants to request my file from Apple (Aple) to see exactly what they are doing. Just had to share....! Also received my first email from Ted Atkins yesterday - now I really feel special!

Myloansusa is LEGAL. They are licensed in Illinois, so it would depend on what your state says about whether or not the lender must be licensed in your state from what I understand. Maybe someone with more knowledge could speak to that. Their address is as follows:
Myloansusa
P.O. Box 5194
Vernon Hills, IL 60061
I believe they are licensed as Mountain Partners in Illinois.
