Has anyone heard of this method?
I'm tired tonite & not able to comprehend what some of the sites
I'm tired tonite & not able to comprehend what some of the sites found (I search under SUPERIOR LIENS).
One site did pop out at me & it seems scary. According to that site, the Superior Lien is drawn up by lawyers who create a "superior lien" that is entered in a court against you. Its supposed to insulate you against wage garnishment & accounts being frozen.
The site went on & stated that its not a legal method in any state as its a false lien. Just because you filed a superior lien still doesn't make it right to withhold payments from creditors.
Another scary part...Superior Liens stay on your credit for 20 years.
Not sure how accurate the site was, but they stated it simply...but also seemed to be selling their services.
Sorry if this isn't right, but everything else seemed so technical to me.

If that's true it doesn't seem like a very good idea to me. I much prefer a debt mangement program where I know who is getting what and that my debt is being paid down.
