Never give out your banking information to anyone. If they call you again, just answer it and tell them that you decided to go with a different debt counselor and will not be needing their services and for them to stop calling you.

if they are trying to pressure you into signing up with them, then that should be a definite warning sign to steer clear! don't let any company high pressure you into signing up with them. it shows they are not looking out for your best interests...just what commissions they will make with having you sign up.

Oh heavens yes, please stay clear of them. When I entered into consolidation both my counselor and I had a written agreement that he faxed to me AND emailed to me so that I can sign. I couldn't even begin that program until all paperwork was in place and they didn't ask for my banking information until all of that was complete. Then I sent them certified if i remember right a voided check in my information packet that I had to send back to them.
I'm sure you're more than irritated at this point and decided if they're going to be more than a pest then you're prolly not going to deal with them anyway. good for you for researching the companies too!! very important good luck finding one that doesn't bug you to death
