I'm trying to get rid of my debt, and found debtconsolidation.com on line, I called and they are supposed to give non biased info regarding your debt situation, but they seemed to favor debt settlement. It sounds like a great way to get rid off debt, and I understand the pros and cons, but it almost sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this firm or any other? Any suggestions/recommendations? I'm also meeting with the National Foundation of credit counseling next week, any feedback on them? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have not had any experience with National Foundation of credit counseling....but you hang around ......im sure someone in the forums who has done business with them will reply your queries.

How did you find the settlement company?are the listed with the better business bureau?are they licensed in your state?you can go to the gov web site for your state and find out if they are licensed and go to better business bureau research site ,punch in the buissiness name and city and state if you know it hope this helps susu
