bry, you reside in PA. Pdls are prohibited in your state UNLESS the pdl is licensed SOMEWHERE. If the pdl is licensed SOMEWHERE, then PA will "allow" the pdl. I'm going to post the PA pdl law just so that you can see it. Some of your pdl's are not going to be licensed, so they would be considered illegal. Some of them are licensed, so you would have to abide by the state pdl law where the pdl is located.

You will find the Payday loan laws for Pennsylvania here (just select your state),

You have a tricky one. But know now that things aren't as bad as they seem. Just take it one day at a time...
I know CashNetUSA is licensed somewhere, in fact most places. So you'll have to deal with them seperate than the illegal ones.
Also you are showing us what their fees are, not how much you've paid them so far. If you can list how much they've taken out of your account please do. If you have to back track through your bank statments then do so. It will help us when we do figure out which ones are illegal, to see how much you do (if at all) owe them still...

CashNetUSA will be licensed. I think they're using their Nevada license to lend in PA (?). Might be Nevada license. But they are licensed nontheless. Eastside Lenders I think might be using a Delaware license to lend in PA. PayDayOK will be licensed to lend in PA. PayDayOne will be licensed to lend in PA. PayDayYes - I am not sure about. VC Funding - I am not sure about, but I don't think they are licensed; however, I am not POSITIVE. Paycheck Today I do believe is a d/b/a of MTE, which will not be licensed.
after further research i found that with vcfunding I paid 600.
after further research i found that with vcfunding I paid 600.00 for the 200.00 loan.....eastside lenders paid 360.00 so far in fees for the 300.00 loan,, payday one paid 487.40 for 463.50 loan....payday ok and payday max and paydayloan yes are
is it ok to contact them and let them know that i need payment arrangements other than automatically coming out of my checking account... can the loans be consolidated? Do i have any options?

bry, you can contact them and tell them you need an alternative payment method. I know I have read others on here that have closed their bank account so the pdls couldn't debit any longer and then they set up an alternative payment type such as money orders being sent. Since they will be licensed (with the exception of Paycheck Today), they will want you to pay according to THEIR laws, which typically suck. That's why you've paid so much on these loans. The states that the pdls are in are usually the states that have the most lax pdl law so they can charge all these fees and rollovers. However, you can stop them from debiting your bank account and set up payments via money order or pre-paid debit card or whatever. You might want to consider actually closing your account so that they don't swoop in and debit the hell out of it.
