Please help! Is this legal?

In Sept. it went to court to garnish my wages. Well I thought at least I can still get by. Now in Nov. my wages have not been garnished but my bank account has been froze. I am raising 3 grandchildren under the age of 4 on my income only. well the babies went to bed with water instead of milk, lot rent check will bounce, 3 diapers left, and now gas to get to work tommorrow. All my money was deposited today, and now I have not one penny. Is this legal? PLEASE HELP

You need to look up your state exemptions and find out what they are actually allowed to take. You could most likely get your funds released but you will need to go to court and file an order to appeal the lien and file exemptions.

Welcome to the Community :D I am so sorry to hear about all that is going on in your life right now.Please check out your local churches, helping agencies-United way,etc. With children, you should be getting some help there.

As far as frozen accounts- I am not sure I understand why or who froze the account? Did you go to court for this? It would seem to me that they would garnish you before freezing accounts, but I am no expert. You need to se what your papers from the hearing say, or maybe someone who knows or who has been through this can help.
