Hi everyone, I have been lurking for quite awhile and taking advice from other posts, but had a few questions of my own. I am currently in a nightmare that I am trying to dig myself out of. I reside in Ohio and have 10 storefront loans and 5 internet loans. Actually one internet is mine, 4 are my husbands. My storefront loans are:

Money Mart: $912.50 entered EPP yesterday
Quik Cash: $631.25 entered EPP yesterday
National Cash Advance: $688.50 entered EPP yesterday
ACE Cash Express: $491.50
American Cash Exchange:$575
1st American Cash Advance: $912.50
Cash Connection: $575
Check into Cash: $460 (will try EPP)
ChecksMart: $687.50 (Will enter EPP today)
Cash Land: (will try EPP)

The internet ones:
Paydayavenue.com: borrowed $300, will payback $407 (one lump sum payment, then reborrow)
Cashnetusa.com: borrowed $200, will payback $230 (one lump sum payment, then reborrow)
Ameriloan: borrowed $300, will pay back $90 11/21 (have not made a payment yet)
Paydaymax.com: borrowed $300, repaid $482.74
Paydayok.com: borrowed $500, repaid $689.29

I can't determine if 1st American Cash Advance, ACE Cash Express, Cash Connection, and American Cash Exchange are CFSA members.

This is one of the most terrible things I have ever gotten myself into. I appreciate all of the advice I have gathered from other posts and would appreciate any further insight. Thank you for your time.

Looks like you have overpaid on Paydaymax.com ($137.74) and Paydayok.com ($114.29). With Payday Ave Ohio legal limits should be $360 and not $407.

I don't believe the others are CFSA member but I can look it up later this afternoon.

Someone should be by here and help you on dealing with the internet ones. I have never dealt with internet loans before.

Just for the record...Cashland is a member of the CFSA. And also, payday loans are ment for emergencies. Some people tend to abuse the fact that they are able to borrow and THEY allow themselves to get wrapped up in the cycle of borrowing from 15 different payday loan stores and then make it sound as if it's our fault. Things get tough however, because I do work in this field, I do know that it's not hard to get out of the cycle. People choose to keep reborrowing instead of sacrificing until their next payday. We are not loan sharks and we do not prey on the less fortunate. We really do help people when they need it. And they appreciate that. So now, there is a bill out there attempting to close us all down. What will happen to the people who really need us? I'm not sure about other payroll advances, but Cashland actually cares about our customers. We bend over backwards to make sure that if something comes up and you can't pay, we can figure something out to help you simply because getting a bounced check helps no one. I know from personal experience that other loan places just don't care. I offer our EPP program to some of our customers because I know that they have gotten in too deep. Simply put... Cashland cares and it sucks that people think one way about all of us because of a few of us!!!

Employee, I appreciate your post, and I truly hope you don't get flamed for it. I know that there are good people who work for Payday loan companies, when I dealt with Apple 2 years ago there was a fantastic woman helping me. It does suck that you guys are criticized as a whole..That is unfair. What really sucks, though, is the entire predatory lending process. Payday loans are a very bad thing, and as for the people that need you..Do they really? Isn't there another way to get a couple hundred bucks?

I agree with fins. There are good people working for these companies, but it's the predatory lending that is bad. But thank you Employee, I am sure the people who deal with you really appreciate your kindness and willingness to work with them when they're in a tough situation.

I personally hope that the bill goes through and all of the Payday Loan companies are shut down. In my opinion they do more harm than good.

Employee it is nice to know that you do the right thing by people. I dont recall ever hearing anyone here that complained about YOUR company. However, you cannot deny that people do get trapped in the revolving mess that is payday lending. I hope that when they shut them all down you can find another job working with people, you seem like a caring individual.
