How can I stop Westbury Ventures from debiting my account?

Turnns, I am so sorry this is happening to you. Were both accounts at the same bank? If so I would suggest you use a completely different bank. That is usually recommended by members of this fourm.

Did you close the account and the debits forced it back open? That also tends to happen.

Did you go a meet with your branch manager to discuss the situation? It is usually best rather than dealing with the CSRs on the 800 number. Westbury is one of the worst out there. Their collection tecniques are almost terroristic.

Turnns, I got you message. I really would try opening an account at a completely different bank. Members encoruaged me to do that becuase the same thing has happened to others in the past. I was warned about PDLs forcing my account open and then bank using the funds from the second account to pay the first account. I was also warned about the bank applying the debit to the new account. I really think that your chances of any of this happening with a completely different bank is extremely slim.
