I sent my payroll office and HR office my wage assignment letters. Also after asking him for there money gram info this is what he sent me what should I respond to him

Quote:
Yes there is but your account has already been sent to your payroll office. Your balance is $600.00. Would you still like the Money Gram information?

Is there a money gram address for your company?

The link you provided quotes DC law. If you review the contract to which you agreed and signed, the terms of the loan are interpreted under the laws of St. Vincent. As the money was lent from an international lender (L&M Financial, a St. Vincent company) which operates inside the U.S., the contract is applicable to all federal laws. Additionally, the contract is not subject to state laws as L&M maintains no physical presence within your state. You will find that the loan contract is well within all federal laws and guidelines. Furthermore, we did not solicit or advertise inside your state.

Regardless of the facts outlined above, you borrowed $300. To date you have paid us $0.00.

Please remit payment immediately or we will contact your payroll department to execute the wage assignment outlined in your contract including legal fees upwards of $200.

If you had prior knowledge of the DC law you quoted above and you truly believed it applied to these loans, but you still choose to proceed with the loan application process, then you would be committing an act of fraud.

KAte, they do have to abide by the DC laws. You need to check with your payroll department and ensure they are aware this is an illegal company and that they do not have to and will not honor the wage assignment. Cover your bases. Prtoect your paycheck and then worry about a response to this company. Whatever you do be sure to put it in writing.

Katesia, I think that we have gone through this. I also had payday2go. There is no way that you owe 600 on a 300 loan. This company is so illegal. They are not even in this country. Please do not worry at all about them. There is not a thing that they can do to you. If you feel that morally you want to pay the 300 back, then do it in a way that is comfortable for you.
You are not committing any fraud. They are the ones operating outside of the law. Get the address and send payments that you can afford.
