I sent your information to the lender on 11/21/07. I am waiting for a response from them. I am also forwarding your loan packet to you and please refer to the Governing law on your loan note and disclosure that you agreed to . You also faxed us a pay stub at the time of your loan request which let's the lender know that you went above and beyond to get a loan which you agreed to the terms. I would wait and see what the response is . . . . To me it means

You could respond the DC considers any loan made to a consumer living there to be governed by the laws of DC. But I'd just wait until you get a response from them that actually says something.
