I am in Potter County, Texas

I have tried to make payments, but they have refused to accept anything I can do. I have no address for this company. They say they send me information, but I do not receive anything from them.

I look up the company, and I get Midland Credit

The lawsuit is from Midland funding llc

And an attorney out of Texas, yet filed in Minnesota???

Do I owe something? Yes. Do I owe as much as they say? I disagree since it is still adding interest at the time I called and spoke to someone today.

I have answered my summons with a general statement to buy me some time. What do I do next??? I cannot afford for them to slam my bank account. I have children that need meds, food, roof over their heads, etc.

I filed a right to appear in court.

I now have a court date in January. There is a lawyer in Houston handling the case, however they filed with a Notary in Mn. I'm confused with it all still. I'll just let the judge help if nothing else. I've asked for help, that I couldn't begin payments till January. They said no, they will not take anything less than several hundred dollars up front THEN take those payments. I'd rather pay the courts anyway. I can make easier arrangements with them. My bill is triple what it was originally, so I'm not happy at all.
