I have some questions in regards to these in accordance to Texas laws. I'll be honest and say that I don't have a lot of time to look certain things up but I have a few questions. Could someone who is familiar with these things please PM me.

The Texas Finance Code gives a collector thirty days to respond to a dispute and if reporting on reports it must also be resolved in the same amount of time or remove from report. Finance Code allows criminal and civil penalties for non-compliance with the code. A dispute using these rules should reference that you are enforcing your rights to dispute under state law and if it went to court you can use either state or federal law for any claims.
