i took payday loans in pa they were all through online
cashnetusa-350 have paid over 500
ameriloan -250 have paid over 400

are they licensed in pa?I am so confused.

If they are licensed anywhere they are legal in PA. I will post the laws for you.
You will find the Payday loan laws for Pennsylvania State Information here (just select your state),

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

Pa is one state that has that specific loop hole. If a pdl is licensed anywhere it is legal in PA

CashNetUSA will be licensed to lend in PA. So, you will have to make arrangments with them. However, ameriloan is NOT licensed, so they could be considered an illegal loan. If you have any questions, just post! :D

Have you done anything regarding your bank account? These guys will continue to debit your bank account until you die. Horrible, horrible. That's why it's advised when you have illegal pdls, to close your bank account that the pdl has information on and open a new account. This is the safest way to protect your money. Okay? I'm going to post something regarding closing your bank account for you to read. Read it carefully. Then if you have any questions, just post! We can get you through this!

I'm not getting you. You state that pdl's in pa are legal as long as the pdl company is licensed. But i clicked on your link, and it specifically states that
Lending of payday loans is prohibited in the State of Pennsylvania. Check Cashing Licensing Act of 1998 prohibits check cashers from making payday loans. Otherwise consumer discount company act is applicable.

Interest rate cap on small loans

$9.50 per $100 per annum discount or 24% per annum

So I have 3 outstanding PDLs n I keep getting calls from middle easterners with names like shawn or darryl, then I get a call from 1 place name william sokol, weird because I only did this all online but how do I get them (mainly the phonies) to stop calling my job? I do intend to pay but what makes them think the $75 or $120 is feasable when I was already in debt? so nerve wrecking...

Law Office of William Sokol 900 12th St
Jersey City, NJ 07302

This is a collection agency that is basically a "bottom feeder". Send them a cease and desist letter via the mail (certified, return receipt requested). My advice is to make sure you state clearly in this cease and desist letter that you have never received a 'Dunning letter' (letter of collection) through the mail about any debt from their company, and until you receive one (as required by the FDCPA) you are demanding that they cease any communication with you via the telephone (this is your right) and the only communication may be done via the USPS. Make sure you date this letter and keep a copy, plus keep the green slip you will receive from the postal service once this collection agency signs for it. Keep accurrate records of all attempts they make to call you, if they continue to call you, file a detailed complaint against them with the FTC for non compliance of the law. And please make sure you file complaints against them with the BBB and your attorney general's office.
