Following advice and info on this forum, I'm workign with the State Financial Office here in Maryland on getting out of my payday loans. Thanks to all of you for all of YOUR help, too! I just watned to post a FYI, if any of you have loans w/ ACHloan.com and they can't get their money from you, you will be INUNDATED with telephone calls. Just now I've gotten 3 calls in a row. Per the MD Financial Office, I've referred ACH to them several times, they have the pohne #, and they still keep calling me. (MD Financial Office told me to hang up after the first couple of calls informing ACH that they were illegal in MD). Not much I can do about the calls I guess, other than report to MD Financial Office that I AM getting a lot of calls; but I'm hanging in there and am looking forward to getting completely out of the payday loan mess. Again, thanks for all of YOUR help.


O, I am right there with you. They keep calling me from a 3058001000 number, and of course the number cannot be called back, I forwarded everything I could to the Office of Attorney General here in DC, but it isnt much I can do, everytime they call now I send them to my voicemail, of course they never leave a message, man I will be glad when they catch a damn hint!

Sure me boyo, and d'ye think they'd be after calling from a legitimate number on the Ould Sod? Actually (seriously) I think this outfit IS located in Ireland, however, their telephone call center is in India and I'd gotten calls from them from a Utah telephone number. More than a wee bit of shenanigans going on here!


SecretSusan, thanks for the updated information; that's one big reason people should either put checking accounts on deposit only status or close them completely rather than use stop payments; these companies are constantly changing their names and could use a new name to get their money out of peoples' accounts. As for ANY loan solicitation I receive from ANY company in my e-mail; I hit the delete button.

Guys I think the two companies are mixed up here. ACHLoan runs out of California, and I think these crooks are based in the UK. I have had a run in with CashToday in the past and they are a real pain. ACH Loan is one of the better companies out there in my experience. I ran into trouble with them a few times and they gave me an opportunity to work through it. I am certain that they are not connected.

the references to Ireland the reason you are hearing irish voices is because all
calls are taken by Claddah Contact Centre in Dublin all they are a message agency similar to a mail drop they act for numerous pay day loan companies
if you contact them direct in droves they will soon get the message better still report them to the Irish authorities Claddah has its own web site with direct contact details forget any web numbers and phone or email them on their own contact details Claddah Contact Centres is a registered irish company so you can report them direct to the Irish company register they may or may not know the kind of harassment their clients are practicing so tell them
