In Debt. Worst affected by Katrina

I live in New Orleans, LA and after the storm everything has just been a financial strain. I couldn’t pay my bills and they have piled up, are there any programs or help for Katrina Survivor and people lives effected by a disaster. My debt has spiral out of control and for two years I was displaced and now I would like to get back the financial stability I had before the storm.

Have you discussed about your situation with the creditors? Usually, they have some hardship programs for people in such financial stress. Or, you can speak to a reputed debt management company in your area and set up a monthly repayment plan.
