Sue the pants off of them for violating fdcpa, if your validation letter also including anything restricting them from calling you (if you got it off of this board it probably did) you can sue them for 1k for FDCPA + 1k for each phone call after the letter was received.

Holy cow, do you mean if a collector calls you after you sent them a letter telling them not to contact you other than mail or email, you CAN actually sue????

Yes, in all the letters that I wrote it was bold and underlined and in two places within the letters that they needed to contact me by USPS only and not by phone. The letter I fax was dated 11/29/07,the letter before that was dated 11/16/06 and 4/21/06.
The phone calls started again in 2/07.
Plus they reported incorrect info to the CB's which I have recently had removed off all three credit reports.

I have also printed my telephone log which shows times and dates they have called my home. The number comes up (000)000-0000 name not found, but the message give a call back number.

I don't know what state you are in...but please file a complaint with the attorney general and call the dept. of financial institutions for your state. They can also give you info on fighting back if you so choose to. You also can get a lawyer and have him send a letter.

I have filed several complaints with the FTC and nothing yet.

I have filed a complant with the OK AG office and they will not do anything.

They still keep calling my home.

These loans are illegal in New jersey, and UCL is one of the most horrible companies there is. They are not licensed anywhere. I believe they are a part of the MTE bunch.
