I am a negotiator at a debt settlement company, Financial Solutions Legal Center. I use this forum daily to research companies and to get an outside perspective on our field.

Ah, I did not realise this was moved or that the initial post would be public. I come here frequently, the typical long time reader, first time posting. We pick up a lot of clients with absolute horror stories both with other debt management companies, and with collectors. I think everyone has a collector horror story.
I come here also to see what the buzz is and read the testimonials to learn how to help my clients better. I frequently e-mail threads to clients and I figured I might as well sign up and get more involved.

Thank you to the moderators and whomever runs this board for this resource. And no, I'm not going to try and use this to spam or plug. =)

Trying to pay down my debts and have become unemployed a second time in less than a year. First was after working 20+
years for same co. Anyway...was contacted by subject company. Any negative blogs or info about them? I've never used any service like this before and would like some real info from those who have. Anyone wish to help out a novice?
Thanks a lot.

You would be better served going thru a real law firm. This company uses an affiliate network called " legal helpers" they will respond to any summons you may receive but they will not show up in court for you if you get served. You should contact a law firm that specializes in debt negotiations. That way you are fully represented legally should any of your creditors sue you. Most attorney models will also work on contingency so you will not have a lot of out of pocket or high upfront fees. What State are you in?

the settlement industry is so corrupt that you cant even rely on lawfirm, they are the most LEGAL people that can take your money fast.

i do debt settlement and im openly stating these facts!

people need to find an HONEST place to help them and an AFFORDABLE place to get them out of debt.

people need to find help that they can depend on plus get them out of debt.

"a policeman will jest stand there an let a banker rob a farmer, or a finance man rob a workin man. But if a farmer robs a banker -- you wood have a hole dern army of cops out a shooting at him. Robbery is a chapter in etiquette". Debt settlement is a viable option for consumers to get out of debt (the numbers don't lie) ...not to be confused with or slander other options.
