Okay, let me make sure I'm understanding everything correctly. You have loans with NetCashUSA, B&L, Cash Supply, and MTE (TenDollarPayDay)also, correct? Is B&L the one that found your new bank account and debited money? And it is also B&L that found out your new cell phone number? Make sure I understand this correctly, okay? The loans you have (both you and roxy checked) are not licensed to lend to you. Now, you have an MTE related one also. MTE will not be licensed to lend to you (they are not licensed anywhere). So, this email you received from MTE (TenDollar) is their usual BS form letter to get people to pay. It's something we've all seen. Blah, blah, blah. They want your new bank account information. Do not respond to them yet. I want to be clear on what's going on. B&L found your new account and debited it - you need to go to your new bank and tell them this is an unauthorized debit from your account by an illegal company that somehow got your bank account information. They should be able to reverse the debit back off. However, now they have your new bank account information and will continue to attempt to debit it until they do get the money. So, you're going to have to get rid of that account. How these guys find out new bank account information (and it happened to me also) is almost beyond me. And also your new cell phone number? I know that almost anyone can pull a consumer report & there is ALL KINDS of information on that. It was pretty scary when I pulled mine. Just knowing that people can pull that and find out all kinds of stuff. Now, I don't know EXACTLY how these companies are finding out our new information, but somehow they are sometimes. I personally would change my cell number again. Sometimes it's worth paying the charge. Okay, with that being said, we NEED to know how much you borrowed from MTE so we can see what their "settlement" is versus what you borrowed/paid. Okay? Can you take care of the bank situation (very important) because they will hit it until your so far in the red, it won't even be funny. Also, MTE is pretty ruthless. They may turn you over to an outside collection agency. Who knows with them. They are so illegal, they disgust me. If you can, please list out your pdls, how much you borrowed (principle amount only) and how much you have paid so far. We can get you through this. But, your priority right now is the bank. Since they found your new account, you're going to have to close it and open a new one. Yes, it sucks. I had to do it, too. Please post ANY questions. We can get through this.

sharky, you are DONE with MTE. Now all of these pdls aren't licensed to do business with you. Have you sent any letters to these illegal idiots at all yet stating that they are illegal, your state law, revoking debit authorization, etc? And, also, have you filed any complaints against them with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG?

Good. At least you sent letters to the illegal morons. Have you filed any complaints against them yet? Of course, they're all going to insist they are licensed (yeah, yeah, blah, blah). Filing with the agencies might help get them off your back a little bit more.

Please be advised that our attempt to debit your account pursuant to
our loan agreement with you has failed. It is imperative that you contact
our office at 1-866-465-5054 immediately upon receipt of this notice
to discuss your payment options. We would like to work with you to get
your account back into Active status and out of Recovery status.
We will gladly accept your payment by Visa or Mastercard for no
additional fee if your account can not be debited at this time.
If you would like to respond by email, feel free to contact us at
recovery(at)invcity.com to set up your payment arrangements.
Failure to comply will result in your account being reported to a
Consumer Reporting agency such as CL Verify which will affect your ability
to qualify for future loans from us and other cash advance companies. It
may also hamper your check writing ability with certain CL Verify
merchants such as gas stations, grocery stores, etc.

Oh, I just LOVE MTE. Do you know how many of these things I have seen? Good Lord. Let them continue with their stupid emails. Keep emailing them back the letter stating they are not licensed/legal and that you have OVERPAID your loan and that you want a refund for the overpayment. It gets to be a "fun" game after awhile.

sharky, keep on them. Now, I'll be honest, sometimes MTE won't even respond to the agencies when contacted. Some people have gotten refunds from them (I'm not one of the lucky ones!) and others have just been harrassed to death (I am one of those!).

Hi, sharky! I can see you now! :D As far as wage assignments, I know MTE doesn't use them. I don't think the others do. I'm not 100% positive. Are any of these idiots overseas? They are the ones most likely to do wage assignments.
