If you are going to close your account atleast tell them and you do need to be sure to send in writing that you want them to stop debiting that account and let them know how you are oging to pay them in the future. If you do not they will continue to debit which may cause you trouble in the long run, driving you into a bigger negative balance.

I just faxed them a simple letter with my return address and loan number on it, stating I am revoking debit authorization for any account they have listed under my name. I plan on paying my monthly payments through Money Gram. I signed and dtaed it.
