Hi, I noticed that under people's name there is a point number. What is that for?

How can someone who has over 5,000 comments make over 800 dollars in six months? That's pretty good. Also, did you know that the IRS asks that if you make anything over 600 dollars you have to declare it?

new to forum, what are you asking? Are you asking how does the "point system" work? Or are you telling people that the IRS is coming after them?

You hear the IRS was making a big deal about those "gift bags" they give to stars at the Emmy's, and now they have to file 1099's on the value of all those gifts, and whoever gets them has to report it as income.

I think it is pretty universal -- anything over $600 needs to be reported as income.

The member should just cash out $599.99 this year so she doesn't hit the mark, and take the rest next year.

We have had this reward program since the last four years and we have our accounts audited each year. We never had any issues regarding the payments done from the DebtCC community. Let me discuss this point with my management and the accounts dept. I will keep you guys posted.
