Sending a PM. I might not be doing it right

Hi
I'm new to this site and I'm just trying to get use to how it works. I don't think that I am using the PM thing right.
When I try to PM some one The message ends up in my outbox and not in my sentbox. I don't know if they are sent when this happens.
I have been using this site for only a few day and I am still lerning.
I was successful sending PM's at first but, I think they went strait in to my sent box. I just don't Know if there making it to the other person.

I think they stay in the out box until the other person opens it
I think they stay in the out box until the other person opens it.I have noticed that too...but then I get an answer and the original message shows up in my sent box.

You might be right. I just moved every thing over to the saved box and the PM's went to the sentbox right away. Any way it works now.
