Moment on Money is a blog maintained by Art Dinkin who is a Certified Financial Planner TM by profession. He was introduced in the blogosphere by professional Blogging coach Mike Sansone. Under his guidance, Art learned how blogs act like ongoing forums. After a long session of guidance by Mike, he started Moment on Money in May, 2007. Since then he has posted numerous blog posts on financial planning, investing and insurance. He is very keen to write goal specific blog posts like retirement and current event issues. One thing about Art is that he highlights blog posts from other blogs which are of good quality. This proves his open mindedness. Apart from blogging he is an instrument rated pilot and he also takes interest in hunting.
Talking about his motivation with blog he told us "Moment on Money is a natural extension of my financial planning practice. It provides a lot of value to my readers, clients and prospective clients. Perhaps the biggest benefit is my blog provides everyone with an opportunity to get to know me as a professional." Appreciation from his readers always motivates him to spend more time with the blog.
As he is close to his target with Moment on Money, now he is planning to integrate his static website some where around the beginning of 2008.
Some Financial tips for People in Debt:
He shares some tips with people who are in debt,
"I would tell someone in debt to remember two old sayings. First "Jet airplanes do not have rear view mirrors". It is more important to look to the future than to remain mired in the past. Second "A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step". When it seems that the mountain of debt may be too high to climb, shorten your focus. Ask yourself what is it that you can do right now which will bring you one step closer to climbing that mountain."
