I have 3 payday loans- one of which i did not agree upon they just deposited the money in the bank and are now taking out 75 every two weeks. I live in ky how do i fix this

OK Ashley
1. They need to be licensed. Check your attorney general site and licensed lenders and see if any are.

2. If not please read: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html

Roll overs are not allowed so they are breaking the law right there even if they have a license.

You will have to close your account to stop the debits...it's really the only way. OPen another account at a different bank.

3. You will have to write them each a letter stating your laws and that you need to make payments arrangements to pay off the principal balance and what is legally owed.

You can look up each of these lenders in the search box at the top of the page. That will possibly get you address and/or email connections. You can also see how others have dealt with the same situation. Just ask if you have any other questions.

ashley, internet loans are illegal in your state. Do as Morningstarr posted. Get rid of that bank account ASAP. These are illegal companies lending illegally to residents in your state. Get that account taken care of ASAP. Open a new bank account at a completely different bank. Do this now. Then we can help you with a letter to send to each pdl (AFTER your bank account is taken care of). Also, you will need to file complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG regarding each one of the pdls.

So, you closed your bank account, the pdls can no longer access your money, correct? You should have already sent out the letters to the pdls. No, you're not "too late". But now they've turned your illegal debts over to collection agencies, which can be tougher to deal with. First of all, prepare your letters stating your state laws, that internet lending is illegal in your state, etc. You need to send cease & desist letters to the collection agencies. You need to file complaints against every one of these plds/collection agencies with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG. File with these agencies as soon as you can. Get these letters out as soon as you can. The pdls are lending illegally in your state and now the collection agencies are trying to collect an illegal debt. Any questions, just post.
