You can expect that, and most likely they will call you at work! How long have you been trying with them?

You need to send them a cease and desist letter. telling them to only contact you via e mail or usps. This should stop the phone calls at work and home. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. It is certainly worth a try.

I hope you did not revoke the ach debit authorization before you closed your checking account. Is it closed.? you did not mention.

One thing that may help is to tell your coworkers and family that you're ID was stolen and someone took out some payday loans under your name. That way it's not so embarrassing when they start calling.

Sending Payday Loan Yes a cease and desist letter won't work. First off, since they are the original creditor you can't tell them to only contact you through the mail. They have every right to call you. They are supposed to stop calling you at work if you tell them not to, but this place will continue because they know it's embarrassing you. They will try to harrass you into paying them.

Do a search here for Cash Net 500. It's the same company as Payday Loan Yes. It will give you an idea of what to expect. They are one of the harder ones to deal with. It's very rare to get any sort of actual response from them, besides the normal emails and such they send you once you defualt.

Also, you need to send the revoke physical mail. You can't prove they recieved the email. If you send the revoke's certified mail return reciept, you can prove that they recieved it. That could be very important down the road.

I really don't know what to do...they took the money out before the agreed upon date...I just don't want anything to do with them...I'm in NC, is there a company that can deal with them for me...I am more than willing to pay what I owe them. Those are addresses verified by state governments as correct.

Payday loans are illegal in NC. You would only owe them the principle amount you borrowed.

Those are the correct addresses for Global payday. That is where they are actually located, in PA is the head office, and Utah is the working office.

I'm not saying it's wrong, it is probably correct for United Quick. It just hasn't been verified as correct by a state government like the other's have. Those are the addresses listed in court documents, so they are absolutely correct.
