Do you help people who are in the store front payday hell? I was told by one group that hey only worked with folks who had the internet payday lender nightmare. I need advice and help quick.I have a young child with special needs and have been between jobs a few times this and last year due to his needs. i started borrowing one loan to pay rent and ended up needing to borrow another to pay for that loan and things snowballed from there as with my new job paydays got off schedule. I am in Columbus ohio. Please help or direct me to the best source. I have 6 of these type of storefront payday loans. i am hoping to be able topay off three of them with my tax refund, when i get that but I do not have my W2,s yet and I had 4 employers in the past year. i do not know if I will qualify for a refund anticipation loan by my tax preparer. If so I can pay off the three larger payday loans quicker. the smaller ones I hope to be able to gradualy pay but how to get them to work with me without getting into legal trouble.

I know in my own experience I contacted the local pdl's before they were in default and explained my situation. It was very easy to work out payment arrangements with them. You just need to be up front with them and honest and show that you do indeed intend on paying them.

Someone will be along to advise you further. Hang in there we've all been there at one time or another.

Just like Ladybug said, who do you have loans with? Some will offer payment plans where they add no extra interest or fees (only if your current and come to the store the day before the loan is due).

There is a company who will work with storefronts and the name is Town and Country (or also known as T&C on here). Put their name in the upper right search box and you will find information about them. They do charge some fees and are the best way to go if there are no other options.

I am also from Columbus and been in your shoes. Before I found this site I had 12 store front payday loans and then number is shrinking every month. There is hope and hang in there. List your stores and I can give you my past experience with them and also if they offer EPP (extended payment plans).
