Cash Call Getting Ridiculous
Date: Mon, 01/14/2008 - 17:11
I like to check up on cash call and I was surprised to see this:
PRODUCT PROCEEDS FEE apr Payments Amount
$1,500 Loan $1,000 $500 141.42% 12 $159.83

They are actually charging $500 in fee's for a $1500 loan. I really hope that nobody is desperate enough to do this. Imagine paying 141% interest on that $500 Fee that you "borrowed". Just in case this comes up on Google I will put what you have paid:
You get $1000, you pay $2,417 over the year(included is their "fee").
These people are insane!

There is an attorney in Sacrament that was filing a class action against cash call I believe it was because of their collection practices. There was a some information on it here. Maybe on the cash call sticky if not if you do a search cash call class action you should be able to find it. I am in Northern Ca.so I am watching it myself.
