went to court about a debt i owed and i told them i been paid it years ago, so i went to court the second time the lawyer that represented them said they were dismissing it, i got my paper stamped saying it was dismissed,its still on my credit report, i even disputed it with experian. i lost the paper i had saying it was dismissed. can i get a copy from the courts somehow,because palisades isnt helping me.

How long ago did they dismiss it? The only way I'd think they would be unhelpful is if it has been purged from their records. Do you remember what law firm the lawyer was from? You should be able to get it from your local courthouse, maybe with a small fee, but your best bet would be the law firm that sued.

What state are you in? A few states had these records available online, but it has recently come to light that I.D. thiefs were using the public records to steal people's identitys (Duh!) :roll: Some states are slow on the roll and you can at least request documents mailed to you from their websites.
