I had several credit cards and loans that I was not able to pay after loosing my job and having to train for a different line of work. I doubt I will be able to make the money I did in the past but I am now getting to where I can actually start paying on some of my debt but don't know where to start. These bills have been in collection for over 1 year so I will probably never get them payed off but I could at least get started on getting them lower. I know I'm really screwed and that I will never have any credit again and I can live with that since it was my fault for letting things get out of control. I don't even know for sure how much I owe anymore. I just wish I could find a way to fix it.

If I could do things over again ..... well I would do them different thats for sure.

Hi kevin...it is not too late for you! The good news is that you are thinking about it now and its not too late to start making improvements.

Make a list of all that you remember owing...find bills, etc.

Order your credit report...go online for your free annual credit report. Find out that status of your debts, if they have been sent to collection, etc.

Have you been contacted by any collection agencies?
what kind of debt is it?

Don't worry you can repair your credit over time. When you came here did you sign up for the free consultation? If so you will be contacted by a professional that will help you explore you option. If not click on the free consultation link on the side. Beware of fly by night credit repair people. They will steal from you.

I did sign up for the consultation and I hope they are able to help me get started. Most of the debt was in Credit Cards and a loan from Benificial. All of it that I know of has been turned over to collection. I have a judgement, possibly two now against me and my pay check is being garnished.

I'm really in deep. Maybe past fixing. Hopefully I can get some good advice in my consultation and get things sorted. I really hope so.

Well I received the call for the free consultation, I wasn't expecting such a fast response. I was contacted by Allied Debt and the email that was sent to me was from Allied debt solutions. They went over my debts and possible ways to get them paid off. The person I spoke with was very nice and understanding and seemed to know what she was talking about. I tried to find a web site for this company but wasn't able to yet. Has anyone used them before with good results. If they were recommended by this web site does that mean they are OK? I would like to know something about this company before I start sending money to them.

Thanks for the help.
