I checked my mail today and I didn't get much. A few pieces of junk mail, a doctors bill and another bill. I almost tossed a small envelope in the trash because I thought it could be junk mail. The return address was just a sticker on the back and the name looked like it had been cut off.

My daughter encourage me to open it so I did. It was a 100 dollar AMEX gift card. I almost threw that away!!! I will be writing a thank you letter tomorrow and sending that off immediatly. WOW! I will be extra careful to go through my junk mail from now on.

FYI--That's great!! We switched insurance companies(health) when my husband changed jobs. I kept getting these things in the mail from them about prescriptions I had gotten, so I quit opening them. One day I was putting things into file folders and opened one--there was a check for their part of the insurance--I opened up 5 more and there were more check--didn't amount to a whole lot- but was more than I would have had!! I didn't even know they did that

That hundred dollars will help you and the kids for the extra day!!..KAren
It's a day to celebrate love, I can't think of a bigger celebration of love than that.
Plus it's an easy date to remember. So you're less likely to get clobbered if you forget it.

When Cherie and I got married, she asked me to pick the date.... After a little thought, I settled on 12/21, and told her it was because that was the shortest day of the year. She was just workin' up to a good mad when I explained that it was also the longest night of the year.
